Set up online booking
Your booking page is a public link customers use to request work without
ringing you. It lives at /book/your-business-name and takes them through five
steps: Service, Details, Property, Schedule, Review.
Find it under Booking page in the sidebar. The Public link sits at the top with Share and Open next to it, and a live Customer preview on the right updates as you type — in desktop or mobile.
Branding
Section titled “Branding”Headline and Tagline are the two lines at the top of the page. They are the first thing a homeowner reads, so the tagline is worth more than your slogan: “Keeping Phoenix comfortable year-round” tells them you cover them.
Which services customers can book
Section titled “Which services customers can book”The Bookable services list is not typed in here. It comes from your catalog, and a type only appears once it is classified as a Service.
That trips people up, because a service missing from this list looks like a bug on this screen when the fix is in another one. If something you sell is not here:
- Open Catalog
- Find the type
- Set its kind to Service
It then appears in this list, and you can toggle it on or off for booking independently. A type you sell but do not want booked online — a warranty callback, say — stays in the catalog with its toggle off.
Prices and deposits
Section titled “Prices and deposits”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show prices publicly | Off shows “quote after assessment” for everything |
| Require deposit | Asks for a deposit before the booking is scheduled |
Turning prices off is the right call for work you cannot price without seeing it. Turning it on suits fixed-price services — a tune-up, an inspection — where a number sells better than a promise to call back.
Scheduling
Section titled “Scheduling”Arrival windows offered — Morning, Afternoon, Evening. Switch off the ones you do not run and customers never see them.
How customers pick a time has two modes, and they behave differently:
- Suggested slots shows a short list of route-optimized days. Fewer choices, better routes, and it is the one to use if you care about drive time.
- Open calendar shows them a calendar and lets them choose.
Minimum lead time (days) stops someone booking you for this afternoon. Set it to what you can genuinely staff.
Service areas — who covers where, and when
Section titled “Service areas — who covers where, and when”Service areas in the sidebar is where booking stops being first-come and starts respecting your map. You draw a polygon on the map, name it, colour it, and optionally give it a surcharge for the extra drive.
Assigning reps to an area
Section titled “Assigning reps to an area”Open an area and you get your team, each with a row of weekday buttons — S M T W T F S. Click the days that rep covers that area.
This is the geo-gating: a customer’s address is matched to the polygon it falls inside, and the days offered are the days a rep covers that area. One rep covering North Valley on Tuesdays and Thursdays means a North Valley address only sees Tuesday and Thursday slots.
The same rep can cover several areas on different days, which is how you run a territory without hand-scheduling it.
Turning an area off
Section titled “Turning an area off”Each area has an Active tick and a Delete. Unticking Active keeps the polygon and the rep assignments for later, which is what you want for seasonal coverage. Deleting removes it — and if it was your only area, booking goes back to accepting everywhere.
What happens when a customer books
Section titled “What happens when a customer books”The request lands as a lead with the service, the property details and the slot they picked, matched to the service area their address falls in. If a surcharge applies to that area, it comes with it.
Before you share the link
Section titled “Before you share the link”- At least one service classified as Service in the catalog and toggled on
- At least one arrival window switched on
- If you have drawn any service area, at least one rep on at least one day
- Open the link yourself, on a phone, and get to the Review step
